The world can feel overwhelming right now. As conflict dominates the headlines and the scale of our environmental challenges grows, it's easy to wonder whether any of it matters.

We think it does. In fact, we think it matters more than ever.

Climate Action Schools exists because we believe the most powerful response to a world in crisis isn't despair, it's connection. Connection between the next generation of thinkers and the industries shaping our future. Between classrooms and boardrooms. Between small, determined actions and the kind of systemic change our planet urgently needs.

Yes, we're working with limited resources. Yes, the problems are enormous. But so, is the energy, creativity, and commitment we see every time a student and an industry partner sit down together and start asking "what if?"

🟢 The Green Gold Rush – P&C Conference Workshop

4–6 June | Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre

Climate Action Schools is partnering with Containers for Change and P&C’s Queensland to present The Green Gold Rush, a 45-minute workshop at the P&C Conference.

The session will show how schools can turn containers into circular income streams, including becoming community Donation Stations.

🏭 New Career Education Resource: Your Career Factory

Manufacturing Skills Queensland has launched Your Career Factory, a new career education short course designed to help students explore future pathways in modern manufacturing.

The program provides ready-to-use lesson plans, activities and resources for schools, helping students understand skills, job pathways and opportunities across manufacturing, engineering, technology and design.

It’s designed to bridge classroom learning with real industry opportunities, supporting students to explore careers and build the skills needed for the future workforce.

A 30-minute online session designed for Principals, Business Managers, P&C Associations and leadership teams to explore how the Climate Action Schools (CAS) model supports sustainability, operational alignment and future pathways for your school. You’ll hear how CAS can reduce waste costs, strengthen sustainability practice and help you decide next steps.

🌱 How to Become a Climate Action School – Online Workshop
This 2-hour online session guides educators and school teams through the practical strategies and systems needed to start your Climate Action Schools journey. You’ll gain clarity on tools and frameworks that support sustainable systems and activation planning.

🌱 Workshop 2: The System Explained (In Person)
An in-person workshop exploring the Climate Action Schools system in depth — ideal for school teams ready to strengthen integration of sustainability practice across operations, curriculum and strategy.

🌱 Sustainability Workshop – Teacher PD (Online)
A 1.5-hour online professional development session for teachers and staff focused on building sustainability awareness, LEAN principles, resource recovery and circular systems. This session equips educators with confidence and industry-aligned insight they can bring into their classrooms and school programs.
